The so-called "ChipTuning" is done via OBD directly to the ECU, so all engine data is still processed directly without falsification and all protective functions are preserved. This is possible from a simple "engine protection software" for RX8, over torque increase for turbo engines, up to individual tuning after various hardware changes.
